Tuesday's Tasty Treble

The Blue Square Bet Premier is in full flow, now 10 games in. We've already seen some shock results, some fine performances and some fantastic football. Tonight we hope for nothing less!

The conditions will not be perfect as the rain sets in up and down the country, hopefully not claiming any more games, with Hyde vs. Alfreton already called off.

The division remains as unpredictable as ever but we've done our best to set you up with a tasty treble!

Treble

Grimsby (1.80) vs. Gateshead

Grimsby Town are currently flying. They have lost just once in ten games and are undefeated in their last eight matches. The Mariners outplayed promotion rivals Luton on Friday, winning 4-1 and impressing throughout. With new boy Scott Neilson adding to the attacking threat, I believe this will be too strong for the Visitors' defence.

The Heed have also lost their last two games, including an away visit to Woking on Saturday. Home win.

Macclesfield Town (2.00) vs. Mansfield Town

Despite last weekend's defeat to Forest Green, Macclesfield have won four out of five games at home this season. The Silkmen have in form striker Matthew Barnes-Homer, who has netted seven goals already and Chris Holroyd who has four.

The visitors will be tricky customers but have only won once in five attempts away from home. It will be a close game but a home win seems the most likely outcome.

Wrexham (1.33) vs. Barrow

Wrexham currently sit third in the league table and have only lost one match so far. The Dragons have been in good home form, with three wins and two draws from five matches. No doubt they will desperate to get the three points having been held by Dartford at home on Saturday.

The visitors however do come into tonight's match with good away form, winning their last two against Tamworth and Ebbsfleet. However the Bluebirds come up against much tougher opposition tonight. I can't see past anything other than a home win.
